Tin Bender's Annual 4x4 Jamboree: 2006 HOME
We (ExtremeWheelers4Christ.org) were asked if we wanted to help out in this event. Of course we said yes! They wanted outside clubs to help run trails for their event. Their event is a fund raiser to help re-open Surprise Canyon.
We knew right then we'd host a surprise Taco Bar on the trail, Claw Hammer.
We also supplied topo maps for their registration packets. Each map (250 of them) has our club logo printed on them. The maps were a huge hit with all as well as the Taco Bar. We've been asked to to it again next year. Yes, we will be there again!
Here are some of the many photos taken. Too many to write about in such a short amount of time. I'll do a quickie nonetheless.
Here we are heading out Friday night to prep the Taco Bar for the next day's
run.
We had some fine friends stop by for an unexpected taco or two

We got'm all out with no real delimas. One rig broke 2 U-joints, and several
had to be winched up a few places. But all-in-all, we got everyone through by
2:PM, allot quicker than usual.
Just getting one more run up Claw Sunday evening
